RIP Wayne from Durhamtown OHV

#1
Durhamtown suffered a great loss of a friend and employee on Sunday (12/3) morning here on DP property. Wayne Jordan (64) was Lindo’s partner for all the development and trail maintenance. Wayne was always on the road scrap or bobcat, helped prep tracks, always smiling... a limb entered the bobcat and pierced him in the stomach and severed a main artery and he died instantly. Wayne will always be missed and remembered. The new GP track will be named after him “Wayne’s Track”
Never been down there, but sounds like he was a good guy. RIP Wayne

Wow... when we wear clearing trails for Rice Creek the same thing happened to us in a Cherokee a few times but luckily we all escaped unharmed. Sad to hear and his family will be in my prayers. I know Durhamtown is fourwheelers primarily but if its open to fullsize rigs I'll make a trip up there to show some support to the park.
