2000 V8 TJ on Full Widths.. Selling for a friend 12500.00 OBO

#1
After becoming a dad here recently I am selling my built 2000 Jeep Wrangler Sport Grey with black hard top and full steel doors. I have owned the TJ since 2005. The Jeep started it's life with a 4.0 and 5 speed. It now has a Dodge 5.2 with a 4 speed automatic. There are 127,000 miles on the chasis and the engine was pulled with 79,000 miles. It now has just a shade over 80,000 miles on it.

**Suspension
4.5 RE front springs 3.5 rears on Teraflex shocks with a 1" Body Lift. Custom triangulated front and rear Long Arms.

**Axles
Front High Pinion Dana 44, 4.56 gears, Factory LSD, Disc Brakes, Warn Manual Locking Hubs, and Hi-Steer. Rear Dana 60, 4.56 gears, disc brakes, and open differential. The front axle is 69.5" WMS tp WMS and the rear is 68.5". Both axles are trussed for the triangulated suspension. The Jeep is riding on 36x1250 16.5 TSL SX's 85% tread.

**Body Armor
Custom front bumper with a 8,000lb Chicago Electric winch and custom Rock Sliders.

**Engine Swap
The engine came out of a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it is 5.2 liter (318cu) V8 backed by the RE42 4 speed automatic transmission, a 231 t-case with a super shorty SYE. The swap is OBD II legal with a wiring harness built by the specialist at Backwoods Offroad. The engine had 79,000 miles when it was pulled from the Grand Cherokee. It has new valve cover gaskets, pulleys, belts, water pump, oil pump, oil pan gasket, intake manifold gasket, and plugs. EVERY sensor under the hood is brand new. The exhaust manifold is out of the higher flowing 93 V8 Grand Cherokee leading into a high flow 3" cat to a Flowmaster Super 44 with turndown. The Jeep is setup for AC and has no CEL's.

**The Good
This Jeep gets a lot of attention. The 5.2 under the hood is a torque monster, idles smooth, rumbles up extreme inclines with ease, and sounds fantastic with the Flow Master exhaust. The transmission and transfer case shift with ease and are both very responsive. The suspension articulates well and comes with sway bar disconnects in the front, the Jeep still has its rear sway bar for added highway stability. The 4 wheel discs off of a 1 ton pickup stop the TJ on a dime. The stock AM/FM CD deck is still in the dash with new Kicker 5.25's front and rear and an 03-06 subwoofer center console. The interior comes with front seats and rear bench seat. Both heat and AC work along with all the gauges.

**The Bad
The stock box has developed a leak. I do have the factory TJ box with low miles that will be included in the sell (or if it is a deal breakerr I will install it). The hardtop does not have back glass, this can be purchased for around $200. There is no longer carpet in the Jeep. This build has less than 1200 miles on it, if I were at a different point in my life this Jeep would be staying with me. With a 40 mile commute to work and the arrival of our new child I just don't get to use it as often as I'd like. Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have, thanks.
