Soo... i thought I would get used to them.... but they are just so different. Its nice that they cover the tires and keep the mud down, but i just dont know.

Keep them:

leave em mud in yer eye sucks. and as often as you drive it, it keeps the crap off. I like the way my 40 looks with chopped fenders and no flares but i miss the protection.

looks like i'm going back to stock. it will be nice to look at my jeep and not cringe.

historical photo with stock flares:

although I would still like to try some rubi flares, but at that point I'm thinking that whats the use in covering some if you dont cover it all..

I'm not so much worried about the look of the smaller flares, i like it, but the coverage of the wider flares was really nice when the trail got sloppy.

Here is an example .... Brooks, how wet did you get coming down the mountain at the end of the Windrock trip? How much water/mud got inside the jeep?

I had a total disaster. The back tires coated the dash, inside of the windshield and the roll bar. The front tire coated six inches of the seat, the door frame, the seat belts and whoever was in the seat. It took me forever to clean it and it still isn't clean. Not fun at all.
